Working with Bright Colours
The super bright colours of Vlisco, also known as 'Wax Hollandais', have already been popular for 170 years in many African countries. They were, until recently, relatively unknown in the Netherland, but their popularity has rapidly grown in the last few years.
Adult participants can make a tote bag from the available Vlisco material in The New Haberdashery. Children can make their own colourful prints with a variety of painting techniques.
